Amantra Stagehand's father is the famous English champion and winner of crufts in 2007, Wandris Entertainer.
Wandris Entertainer was born 9/12/2002 and is heart and eye clear the last we checked in 2010.
He also has had an MRI and was given a grade "A"
Amantra Stagehand won at many shows in England. Here is what some of the judges had to say about him and how he placed:
Boston & District CS Championship Show - 4th January 2008
Judge-Mr. Levy of Pascavale Cavaliers
"I make no apology for being a sucker for breed type and this little dog ticks so many of the boxes for me in this regard. Dreamy head with lots of cushioning to foreface, sweetest of expressions from dark eyes, which were truly melting. Loved his unexaggerated balanced proportions. Good size well within the standard. Rich chestnut broken markings and plenty of featherings Moved fluently, very appealing young dog." Awarded Res CC
Three Counties Pekingese & Cavalier Society Open Show - 15th March 2008
Judge-Lynda Goodgame
"Super blen of ideal size. Creates a lovely outline with a good length of neck and lay of shoulder. Level topline and tailset, good angulation and moved very positively. Good head shape, nice dark round eyes. For me he was the star of the show not the stagehand. " Awarded Best Dog and Best Of Breed
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club
Open Show - 19th August 2007
Judge Mr D Frederick (Twinkinham)
Best puppy dog: Amantra Stagehand
"Really loved this blen puppy, really was my cup of tea, nice & small but with enough bone & such an elegant outline, lovely arch of neck, well constructed & put that to good use on the ground moving fluidly around the ring, the nice structure was complimented by a gorgeous head with lovely dark eyes & very dark pigment, all of this was topped off with a richly marked silky coat, one who I really loved on the day."
West Of England Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club
Limited Show - 20th April 2008
Judge Mrs C Li (Avalcier)
"A quality 20 month old blen typifying a toy spaniel. Even head markings accentuate his large dark eyes. A handsome head due to his well cushioned and plush face. Good angles front and back with curves in all the right places. Body still has room for maturity. Well marked with an abundance of richly coloured coat. Moved with presence and excellent head carriage. Splendid breed type and ideal size within the standard. He appealed to me so much that I had no hesitation in awarding him reserve Best in Show."
